From Buju to Bnxn

Bnxn, formerly known as Buju, from Nigeria, was introduced to Afropop as a child by artists such as 2Baba. This passion for Afropop continued, and in 2018, Buju developed his own danceable sound, somewhat reminiscent of Burna Boy. To create a unique identity, Buju changed his name to Bnxn and in 2022, he released his most listened-to hit 'Finesse', in collaboration with Pheelz. That same year, Bnxn won no fewer than 2 Headies Awards and recently released his latest album 'Sincerely, Benson', with collaborations with 2Baba and Popcaan, among others.
