Cellist Leah Plave and electroacoustic sound operator Tiziano Teodori first met in Den Haag in 2020 as members of Linen of Words; a multidisciplinary ensemble which re-imagines American folk music. A shared ambition for fusing genres and exploring electronic sound drove Leah and Tiziano to venture into previously uncharted territory of ground-breaking sounds and techniques, challenging the mould of the cello's traditionally perceived voice. 

In their repertoire, one finds an expansive terrain where the rich timbral possibilities of acoustic cello and electronic textures converse, often drawing breath from the natural world, ancient musical traditions, and the labyrinth of human experience. Employing analogue modular synthesis, live sampling, and an exploration of minimalism, imaginative conversations can begin. The result is music which tells a story, existing in a space that is singular, resonant, and utterly unique. With roots in baroque and classical training, Leah and Tiziano infuse their work with subtle echoes of history, embedding the ancient within the avant-garde. 

In 2023, Leah and Tiziano made their debut at the Sound Art Festival in Den Haag. Their music has since captivated audiences in both traditional and eclectic venues alike such as De Doelen, Korzo Theater, Sexyland World, and Angelica Festival Internazionale di Musica among others. The duo has quickly gained recognition with invitations to perform at esteemed festivals and theaters throughout Europe.
