Cero Ismael has established himself as a unique voice in the music world. Raised in the suburbs of Amsterdam with Surinamese, Dutch and Indonesian roots, he combines his roots with an experimental mix of alternative r&b, hip hop, indie and electronic influences.

Since his 2021 debut EP Blue Man, he has made a strong impression with every release. After 2022 ’s AS MUCH AS YOU DID BEFORE and 2023’s Eureka , he is now working on his debut album, due out in April 2025. This ambitious triptych reflects his artistic vision. On stage, Cero Ismael is both an open wound and a healing hand. His work breaks stereotypes and openly addresses mental health. With vulnerability as a strength, his performances have the gift of disconnecting the audience from the familiar, only to find a deeper connection.
