Climate Justice in Seasons
Vivaldi wrote a monster hit 300 years ago. With his 'Four Seasons' the seasons have been palpable in concert halls for centuries. But the world is subject to major change. Summer can now feel like autumn with heavy flooding, and snow and an Elfstedentocht are no longer a given in winter. What do the seasons sound like in the 21st century?

TheDutchBrewhouse
Violinist Lonneke van Straalen asked composers Trevor Grahl (1984) and Composer of the Fatherland Anne Maartje Lemereis (1989) to set the current climate conditions to music. Trevor and Anne-Maartje are inspired by the ideas of climate scientist Joyeeta Gupta, winner of the prestigious Spinoza Prize, the Dutch version of the Nobel Prize.
How can we think in possibilities and not get bogged down in doomsday scenarios?
