A prize-winning concert by KMV DUO, consisting of Mattis Mere (2003) on trumpet and Kelly Johannes (2002) on guitar. Winners of the Out of Your Mind Competition, a collaboration between the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and Splendor, which offers young artists the opportunity to present themselves to the Splendor audience.

The Estonian duo's concert is inspired by Hemingway's book about the Spanish Civil War, 'For Whom the Bell Tolls', and takes the audience on a journey through times when music kept the human spirit alive during the hardships of war
