Ciara Mary-Alice Thompson, aka CMAT, impresses with her honest alt-folk and country pop that cuts to the bone, assisted by a power voice and her flamboyant appearance. CMAT has already won many hearts in its home country Ireland, where it won the Choice Music Prize for Irish Album of the Year. CMAT's success then also reached the rest of the world, and it already made a deep impression in our packed Upstairs.
