Composer in Residence: Caroline Shaw & Kamus Quartet
American Caroline Shaw is a composer who is residing at Het Concertgebouw this season. With the Kamus Quartet, she explores the musical worlds of Des Prez, Scarlatti, and Beethoven and her own work. 'Whether I work with a string quartet, a choir or even an orchestra, I strive for the feeling that you are a band together, in which everyone is equally important', says Shaw.
