Dancing experience
The band, similar to Mauskovic Dance Band and Altin Gün, emphasises rhythm and avoids extended psychedelic breaks and solos. Their sound combines African and Caribbean rhythms, psychedelia, salsa, funk and critical lyrics about the situation in Venezuela. Conjunto Papa Upa wants to showcase the diversity of Latin rhythms and free the audience from fixed ideas about Latin music and dance, resulting in an energetic and, above all, danceable experience. On Wednesday, July 24, they will present their new album 'Fruta Madura' in the Bovenzaal of Paradiso.
