Cosima Brass Quintet
In this family performance, the members of the Cosima Brass Quintet and percussionist Nóra Takács bring the stories of One Thousand and One Nights to life. The famous orchestral suite 'Sheherazade' by Rimsky Korsakov takes centre stage while the young musicians of the ensemble tell the stories.

Also a bike ride
The performance is suitable for audiences of all ages, from 6 years old, and can be easily combined with a bike ride to the beautiful Schellingwouderkerk.
Egbert van Groningen has arranged the symphonic suite by Rimsky-Korsakov, especially for the brass quintet, and dramaturge Jasmijn van Wijnen has written new texts together with author Kader Abdolah based on Abdolah's retelling of the stories of 1001 nights. This performance was made in collaboration with NJON.
