Qusai and Khalil are constantly looking for new forms of expression to appeal equally to their 'Eastern' and 'Western' listeners. Together they create an extremely captivating sound with a rich rhythmic vocabulary, combined with heartfelt melodies. Entrance is free.

Khoury & Qusai

Khalil Khoury is an award-winning Qanun player, composer and sound engineer. In Amsterdam is making his way as one of the most versatile and creative Palestinian musicians of the new generation. Khalil is often praised for his extraordinary sensitivity and musicality. He recently completed an Advanced Degree in Sound Engineering and Music Production with distinction at the Abbey Road Institute in Amsterdam.

Qusai is a highly skilled cellist with a reputation for compelling performances. Originating from Syria, living in Amsterdam and, like Khalil, a proud member of the Amsterdam Andalusian Orchestra. Qusai can often be found in recording studios throughout the country and regularly organizes jam sessions with musician friends.
