Milestones
These were 40 eventful years with countless highlights. The most important milestones are Dimitri's Hi-Tech Soul Movement evenings in the RoXY and his residencies for Chemistry in the Escape, on Ibiza, in New York's Twilo, and Trouw. His inclusion as the first Dutch artist in the DJMag Top 100 paved the way for the wave of homegrown artists who dominated the leading DJ chart in subsequent years.
Dimitri has also overcome several challenges during his career. In 2013, he lost his lower leg to a life-threatening bacterial infection. Within five months, he was back behind the decks - proof to him that music has the power to heal. Today, Dimitri plays in clubs and festivals at home and abroad every weekend. During his extra-long sets at Thuishaven, he regularly shows what he is best at, taking people on a musical journey.

After all, this milestone cannot be celebrated in a grand and compelling way.
