Ensemble Interactivo de La Habana - Undisclosed Creation
Crazy Cuban quartet plays collective improvised music with colourful instruments. Expect the unexpected with the Ensemble Interactivo de La Habana (EIH) touring Europe for the first time. In each of their very different performances, even the members of this unique quartet never know precisely what will happen next - and herein lies the challenge: how can they create/compose a musical journey lasting over an hour through collective improvisation?

Free musical experiences
Dynamic orchestrations, funny dialogues, crazy textures, surreal atmospheres and an intrinsic rhythmic and percussive identity form the perfect formula for an authentic explosion of vibrations in which the audience and performers are immersed. EIH's instrumentation is a mix of classical instruments and various other - sometimes ethnic - sound sources. They use live electronics to process the sound in real-time, creating an extra layer in the whole.
EIH strives to offer free musical experiences not tied to a specific style or aesthetic but that draw from as many sources of inspiration and influences as possible. With the diversity that results from this, we celebrate the magic of the moment.
Special guest is tap dancer and Splendor musician Marije Nie, who meets EIH, seven years after the first meeting with the ensemble in Havana.
