On Sunday, 15 December, the grand finale of the 33rd edition of the national 55+ Song Festival will take place at Theater Amsterdam in the modern Houthaven district. 16 finalists will compete, accompanied by the Senior Song Festival Orchestra conducted by Kees van Zantwijk. Hosted by Maria Kraaijkamp, this musical afternoon promises a diverse and thrilling experience as each finalist performs their carefully chosen song with passion and intensity. Please note: The event will likely be presented in English.

Exciting Awards Ceremony

The jury, chaired by Evert de Vries, will select the winners of the first, second, and third jury prizes. Meanwhile, the audience will vote for the recipient of the audience award. Additionally, there is an online prize for the finalist who receives the most votes via the festival's website, where voting opens at the end of November.
