Siren Songs

Trapper Schoepp is a singer-songwriter from Milwaukee who pays tribute to his musical heroes with his new album, 'Siren Songs'. One of those heroes is present to a greater extent: Johnny Cash. Schoepp recorded his record in the historic Johnny Cash's Cash Cabin and the front of the record also has a link to this. The studio was a home base for Cash and his bandmates and had a characteristic sound that can also be heard on Schoepp's American folk record.

With this he continues his journey to walk both his own path and the paths of folk singers before and after his time. Schoepp has ticked off at least one thing that many artists would kill for; in 2019, Schoepp released a long-lost song called 'On, Wisconsin' with Bob Dylan.
