Fool’s Spring is a sparkling, self-produced collection of 11 tracks that range from ‘sad ABBA’ to yacht rock. The songs take the listener on a journey through Sital-Singh’s difficult personal journey of the past few years, punctuated with highs and lows. The album’s title is a nod to this rollercoaster: the plague of approaching spring, of hope, only to have winter return. ‘The poetry of thinking that a dark time has passed, only to return again,’ says Sital-Singh, ‘is something that resonates with the theme of the new album.’
