A far cry from their girl-power namesakes, deadpan duo Maustetytöt are topping the charts at home – and found a kindred spirit in the 'Fallen Leaves' film director, who had their work exhibited in the film. They will come to Bitterzoet on 25 May!

Anti-pop pose
The duo creates something unusual: a band with an anti-pop attitude that can't help but release great pop songs. Their 2019 first single 'Tein Kai Lottorivini Väärin' (I Guess I Got My Lottery Line Wrong) starts off as a garage-rock stomper, with a spartan drum track and a one-note guitar pulse, before breaking out into a symphonic sound .
