Broken heart
Fish became a musician through heartbreak. “Every time I go through a breakup, I write a good album,” he says. Fish was 16 years old when he was kicked out of his home because of a budding romance with drugs. He soon fell into a depression, trying unsuccessfully to get through the breakup with his then-girlfriend and the family turmoil. Eventually, he turned to music creation and god for enlightenment.
Trilogy
The singer, producer and songwriter mixes R&B, new age gospel and soul with rich, electronic soundscapes and writes lyrics that are recognizable to many. His most recent EP, 2022's 'Her Love Still Haunts Me Like a Ghost', bridges the gap between his debut album 'JAMIE' from the same year and his upcoming album 'CHARLOTTE', which is still in the works. His 3rd album, 'MARSHALL', will complete a trilogy that Fish says explores the emotions experienced during intense loss.
