Preliminary Round of the Elderly Song Festival
The Elderly Songfestival, the national singing festival for those aged 55 and up, is coming to the OBA Theater, hosted by Maria Kraaijkamp. On Thursday, 10 October, the eighth of ten preliminary rounds will take place. Come and listen to the participants or join in yourself! Please note: the main language will be Dutch.

How will the day unfold?
16 candidates will compete this afternoon for a spot in the prefinals. Accompanied by pianist Kees van Zantwijk, they will sing their chosen song. The jury, chaired by Ben Lansink, will decide who moves on to one of the three prefinals. In the end, 16 finalists will remain. They will perform in the Grande Finale on Sunday afternoon, 15 December, at the Theatre Amsterdam.
