Happy dance steps
Alt-pop artist Elliot Boyd sounds like a mix of contemporary artists Oscar and the Wolf, James Blake and Thomas Azier. He combines his dark sound with his cheerful dance steps across the stage. After studying in England and with a degree in songwriting, Elliot released his debut single 'Floating' in 2022. This included a video clip for which he made the choreography himself. Last year he performed on the main stage of Bevrijdingspop in Haarlem and participated in the pop round. This spring, he will release his debut EP 'Artificial Bliss', but first, he will make his Melkweg debut!
Some Days Just Suck
Singer-songwriter Mellie built her own studio in her parents' house, where she learned to produce music. This year she released her first single called 'Some Days Just Suck', which reached national radio. Mellie's pure voice and unique music style are strongly evident in her second single, 'Chills', a love song that leaves a big impression within the music industry.
