Saint Levant
Marwan Abdelhamid, better known as Saint Levant, is a musician born in Jerusalem during the Second Intifada, to a French-Algerian mother and a Serbian-Palestinian father. He spent ten years growing up in Gaza, which he later honored with his debut EP 'From Gaza with Love' in 2023. During the Battle of Gaza in 2007, Marwan and his family were forced to flee to Jordan, where he would spend the rest of his childhood until moving to Los Angeles. His diverse background and inspirations, ranging from traditional Arabic music to R&B and hip-hop, allow him to seamlessly blend English, French, and Arabic in his lyrics, attracting fans from all over the world.

DEIRA
His latest release and debut album DEIRA references a hotel in Gaza City, designed by his father, that was recently destroyed by IDF bombing. The album commemorates the hotel as a symbol of a free Palestine, while celebrating his Palestinian roots and reflecting on his growing career amid the destruction of his home city. Challenge, hope and a certain amount of guilt permeate the vibrant and hypnotic songs, which have both pop appeal and retain a sense of adventure.
