Stand Up
The trio borrowed their band name from a rock 'n' roll song by Stick McGhee, but it is also the American name for a type of punch. The trio had an underground hit with the single 'Lady Sleep', and 'Stand Up' also became a big radio hit on the alternative VPRO radio program 'Nozems-a-Gogo'. The band was active between 1988 and 1994, until they picked up the thread again after 25 years. Earplugs are still recommended! NB The end time mentioned is an indication.
