Dont Let the Sunlight Fool Ya
The sound of The Slackers is deeply rooted in the music of legendary Jamaican bands such as The Skatalites and The Upsetters, while American retro sounds from blues, soul and rock also play a significant role. Lyrically, The Slackers are very politically passionate but live; they always make it a fun party. In 2022. they released their 15th album, Dont Let the Sunlight Fool Ya, and later this year, there will be a 20th anniversary edition of the album Close My Eyes.
