After the instrumental BZN song Himalaya was used in the television program Te land, ter zee en in de lucht , the phone at the editors was red hot. After this success, the duo TOL & TOL was founded, which celebrated great success in many countries for 10 years. After this, Thomas became a hit writer and producer of Jan Smit, among others.

Thomas is the only composer in the Netherlands who has been in the hit parade with one of his compositions every year since the start of BZN, and to this day. For 5 years now, he has been organizing sold-out concerts to perform his music with a 16-piece orchestra. Because of the anniversary of the world hit Eleni , 35 years ago, he will give a one-off concert in the Concertgebouw, together with his orchestra, the original singer of Eleni Corrina Vamvakari and guest artists Jan Smit and MELL.
