A new season is, of course, not possible without the trusted Tuesday Jam! Still under the inspiring leadership of Jasper Blom, saxophonist and winner of the Boy Edgar Prize in 2019, this is where musicians, young and old, professional and emerging, meet and inspire each other.
Jam session with international, young and established talent
With the award-winning jazz education of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam only a few hundred meters from Bimhuis, there is no shortage of up-and-coming talent. Add to that the spontaneous visits of world-class musicians (Esperanza Spalding/Seamus Blake/Dick Oats), and you have the perfect mix. In short, this is the session you must attend as a jazz musician or enthusiast. Free to the public and musicians alike.
