A combination of folk songs from Slovakia and the United Kingdom from the perspective of female figures in popular culture. The music and poems are all written from the perspective of female figures, who often sing about the simple but deep, sad but beautiful things of life: love, nature, loneliness and human connection.

In this short performance, 2 friends and musicians Dorota Matejová (Slovakia) and Kat Carson (UK/Netherlands), who usually perform together in the early music ensemble Nymphes et Monstres, come together in an intimate setting. They combine traditional songs and their own music from Slovakia and the United Kingdom.
