Mashua

The latin fusion restaurant Mashua (a type of potato in Inca language) does have a lot of Peruvian spuds on the menu but then with, for example, tartar of tuna or sweet potatoes and grilled cuttlefish with a parsley mix. This is South American new style and not only as far as the food is concerned. The restaurant is in a stately canal house close by the Leidsestraat. It is decorated simply, with green walls and sunny flower prints. Sip mojito’s and caiparinha’s at the bar or on the terrace to your heart’s content.
