Circulate – Photography Beyond Frames
For Circulate, 21 artists were selected who use photography in diverse, innovative ways and think outside the box. The work that the photographers show also bears witness to the influence of images in life today. Many works in Circulate were made especially for the exhibition and are on display for the first time. During the exhibition, the Stedelijk will announce which works will be purchased for the museum collection.

About this exhibition
Every two years, the Stedelijk organises a major group exhibition based on a discipline or a current theme. This year (2024) we have chosen to focus on developments in photography, a medium that is always in motion.
