Marina Abramović
Immerse yourself in the world of the legendary Marina Abramović, in the largest overview ever in the Netherlands. This exhibition can be seen in Stedelijk Museum - Museum of Modern Art.
Marina Abramović
Mental and physical boundaries
More than 60 important works trace the development of the impressive oeuvre of the performance art pioneer over the past fifty years: from her early work, that she made in the former Yugoslavia and in Amsterdam, to the groundbreaking performances with her partner Ulay and the solo work with which she is still active.
There are performances in the exhibition every day from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm. The re-enactments of the performances are performed at different times by performers specially trained according to the Abramović Method and sometimes last several hours or days. A schedule is not announced, but whatever time you come, you will always experience a performance. Attending a performance can be both intimate and confrontational.
Please note: On Friday nights 5 and 12 July, visitors can see the exhibition from 6pm to 10pm, and experience the special performances. The regular admission price applies for these special evening tickets.
