Nazif Lopulissa
Nazif Lopulissa graduated from the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam in 2016 and will start a master's degree at the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam in 2024. His work has been exhibited in the Kunsthal Rotterdam, the Tate Modern and Museum Boijmans van Beuningen, among others.
Nazif Lopulissa creates works of art inspired by the unwritten rules of the game. Made from diverse media – sculpture, painting and photography – Lopulissa's works explore the contradictions that both connect us and open up new possibilities for understanding ourselves and our environment. Lopulissa examines how the convergence of different cultural influences affects identity and how we look back on the past.
