An exhibition full of experiments with prints by artists from the seventeenth century to the present (Rembrandt, Felicien Rops, Geertruydt Roghman and Glenn Brown.) All the artists you encounter in the room – whether they worked in the 17th century or very recently – have one thing in common: they experiment wildly. By trying out different techniques and materials, they always discover something new. And they approach the same theme with a fresh perspective each time. Thanks to these experiments, they deepen their craftsmanship to mastery. Inspired? Get started with your own experiments on paper in the middle of the exhibition. Try out different types of paper and drawing materials. Just like the artists around you – each one a source of inspiration.
