Eyes On Art
Together under the theme of Pride 2024
'Together', the theme of Amsterdam Pride 2024. 7 established artists from Amsterdam honour this celebration by joining forces. They have put together an impressive exhibition from the works they created that can be seen in the kunstRUIM gallery.
At the exhibition you not only look at the works, but you also come face to face with the different makers. Together they take over the gallery for four weeks. They can tell you everything about their own and each other's work.
About the artists
Be overwhelmed by the explosive compositions and exciting collages of the gifted Ariya Razmjou, who takes the media of photography and graphic design to a higher level.
Immerse yourself in the festive scenes drawn by Eva Gans, who knows better than anyone else how to put a smile on your face with lines – or their omission.
How many muscular torsos can you count in Frazin Kavaji 's gravity-defying ceramic sculptures? In this way, he powerfully expresses his experiences surrounding oppression and self-development.
Turn around and you step into the colourful universe of the talented Kaidusa, in botanical and nautical watercolours he unerringly captures his emotions and sexual excitement.
Marvel at the enormously detailed and beautifully complex works of the multidisciplinary Liaisan Musina. She is praised and showered with prizes worldwide.
Ever wanted to meet a real Van Gogh? Forget Vincent! It is his great-grandnephew Lieuwe van Gogh's unapologetic reflections on the current zeitgeist witch you must see.
The 7th star of this collective is Mylo Freeman. Diversity and inclusivity are self-evident in her adventurous picture books, which bring colour to the lives of countless children. She knows how to touch adults in an equally natural way with her beautiful and serene paintings.
