Amsterdam Dance Event x Cello Biennale

A unique encounter: Amsterdam Dance Event and Cello Biennale will come together for one evening on October 18. Cellist Emma Warmelink, violinist Isobel Warmelink and composer Arieh Chrem, known in the Amsterdam club scene as Cartopol, will join forces to create an evening full of groundbreaking music.

This performance immerses you in a continuous stream of sound, where the combination of electronic and acoustic elements creates a deep connection between the digital and human emotions. Especially for this occasion, Arieh Chrem has composed a new work for violin, cello and synthesizers, which explores sounds in space and takes the audience on a journey through an organic and expressive sound world. Emma and Isobel Warmelink will transform digital rhythms with their cello and violin and reduce them to the pure sound of their instruments. The evening unfolds as a journey without borders in a constantly evolving landscape.
