Amsterdam Art Week returns to the city in 2024 for a 12th edition. Amsterdam Art Week offers five days of contemporary visual art, with the focus on identifying young talent. Not only galleries participate in the Amsterdam Art Week, museums, project spaces, residencies and more also open their doors to the public.

More than 50 special locations
Amsterdam Art Week is the event to discover what Amsterdam has to offer in the field of contemporary art. The event turns the capital into an international meeting place for art lovers, collectors, art professionals and promising and renowned artists.
For five days you will be introduced to the latest developments in contemporary art at more than 50 participating galleries, project spaces, museums and residencies. They present a varied program of exhibitions, performances, screenings, lectures and artist talks. Got excited? The Amsterdam Art Week gets underway at the beginning of June. Then all doors of 50 galleries, studios, art institutions, museums and special locations in Amsterdam will open until the first Sunday in June, such as; Oude Kerk, De Appel, GRIMM, AKINCI Gallery, Ellen de Bruijne Projects, Stevenson, Diez Gallery and ISO.
Amsterdam Art Week Hubs (information desks)
The central 'hubs' of the Amsterdam Art Week can be found at the Rijksakademie for visual arts and in the Stedelijk Museum, where you can ask all your questions about Amsterdam Art Week. These hubs are aninformation and meeting place and the starting point for many of the tours. Our employees are happy to help you.
