Amsterdam gardens open to the public for a weekend

Gardens in Amsterdam are not often freely accessible during the year, but every year more than 30 canal gardens open their gates in June during Open Garden Days.

Tickets for the Open Garden Days 2024 can be ordered in due course via the online presale in the Museum Van Loon webshop.

During the Open Garden Days, tickets are available at one of the starting addresses at the door or via the Museum Van Loon webshop.

Children up to 12 can enter for free when accompanied by an adult.

Tickets are valid for three days; each garden can be visited once (with the exception of Museum van Loon).

Important

The private gardens can often only be reached through the house. Visitors walk through it 'as guests'. Due to the fragility of the homes and gardens, dogs, prams and trolleys are prohibited.

Accessibility

The gardens are not wheelchair accessible due to sidewalks and stairs.
