Grachtenrace Amsterdam
Canal Race Amsterdam will return in 2024. The Canal Race is an annual sloop race of almost 23 kilometers on the canals of Amsterdam. Sloop rowing is almost as old as Amsterdam itself. The Canal Race Amsterdam can boast a history that goes back to 1951. In that year, the first canal tour was organized in which sloops sailed over the canals. This unique race through the Amsterdam city center returns to the city every year in October.
