Open Monument Day
On 14 and 15 September 2024, 50 monuments in Amsterdam will open their doors for free for Open Monument Day. Discover 'The Underground City' with cellars, tunnels, bunkers and archaeological finds during the 38th edition. Also explore hidden places above ground, such as clandestine churches, and listen to stories of squatters and graffiti artists.

About Open Monument Day Amsterdam
Open Monument Day is a national event where a huge number of monuments throughout the Netherlands are opened to the public. In Amsterdam, including Weesp, 50 locations can be visited during the weekend of 14 and 15 September 2024. Open Monument Day Amsterdam is free for everyone to attend. The event is organized by the Municipality of Amsterdam, Department of Monuments and Archeology. Come and see the city with different eyes.
