This biennial cultural event is organized by Action for Hope, a non-profit organization that promotes and supports cultural rights in the Arab region and worldwide. This year, the fourth edition of the event will take place in Amsterdam from September 19 to 22. Rasha Hilwi (Palestine/Netherlands), writer, DJ and mother, and Nafiss Nia (Iran/Netherlands), poet and storyteller, will tell stories about recipes from their life journeys and share delicious flavours from Palestine and Iran with the audience in Amsterdam. The storytelling will be led by Naeeda Aurangzeb (Pakistan/Netherlands).

Iain Ewok Robinson of Eon The Mod brings poetry to the accompaniment of music by French composer Charles Amblard. As Poetry Slam champion, his hip-hop influenced poetry explores the tension of organic existence in a plastic society, challenging consumer capitalism with artisanal authenticity. Eon The Mod evades artificial intelligence with intelligent artifice.
Known for her warm and witty poetry, Sarah Clancy touches on themes of social justice, love, nature, and more.
Charles Ducal - appointed the first Belgian Poet Laureate in 2014 - presents his acclaimed, award-winning poetry.

The film Shayda follows an Iranian mother who finds shelter in an Australian shelter with her daughter. Persian, Sudanese & Palestinian music and poetry about connectedness & hope. Nafiss Nia, an Iranian-Dutch filmmaker, poet and cultural entrepreneur, recites her poetry. As director of the Amsterdam Granate Foundation, she produces programs such as Words That Matter, which promotes cultural inclusivity in film and literature.
Palestinian musician Nizar Rohana presents his new album Safa (purity) and enters into a musical dialogue with Persian sitar and tar player Korshid Dadbeh. Huda Asfour (Palestine) and Alsarah (Sudan) testify to the shared history of the Sudanese and Palestinian struggle for freedom with their concert 'Ne3ma' (named after the title of a song from Sudanese revolutionary music from the 1980s and 1990s).
