The originally Syrian DJ and producer Noise Diva is making a name for herself with her challenging sets and productions that go beyond the dance floor. Ata Ebtekar alias Sote experiments with club sounds and electronics from Tehran. He plays material from his latest album 'Sound System Persepolis'.

Noise Diva
As a producer, Noise Diva makes surprising links between genres such as Moroccan hip-hop, Egyptian R&B, French drill, dancehall and UK garage. Sote also treads untrodden paths by clashing club music with dynamic noise and even traditional acoustic instruments. Both have been invited by Diaspora Radio, which makes programs about the diaspora from West Asia and North Africa, with music as a connecting factor.
