Come Together

Come Together is the place where new ideas, exchanges and collaborations come to life. For three days, artists and the public share time, space and ideas with each other. Come Together is both a manifesto and a celebration of the many innovative and contemporary makers that Amsterdam has to offer. It is the annual performance gathering with artists from Amsterdam. All rooms of Frascati will be buzzing with energy, with short sketches, presentations, poetic experiments, inspiring conversations, lectures, debates and a dance party.

Convinced that ideas, like plants, need care and attention to flourish, the goal is to provide space for growth. Come Together makes a fruitful contribution to the ecosystem of the Amsterdam performance, dance and mime community and shares the rich harvest of the past year with our audience.

Chain curating: The heart of Come Together

The programme is put together using the unique chain-curating principle, in which makers propose other makers. This approach results in a dynamic whole with makers from different disciplines and backgrounds. In the past ten editions, Come Together has given more than 80 makers the space to present their work, ranging from established names to emerging talent.

Come Together (10) is produced by Nicole Beutler Projects, in collaboration with Greenhouse and Frascati. For this anniversary edition, Ulrike Quade Company and De Nationale Opera are also joining forces to celebrate this special moment. The involvement of so many Amsterdam organizations underlines the power of shared responsibility within the arts.

The network strives for a healthy and diverse artistic ecosystem in Amsterdam, with room for experiment and innovation.
