Imagine a room at dusk; a low-hanging mist covers the floor. A body emerges from the darkness and steps into the light: it has no past, no future. It starts to jitterbug. But before you can grasp it, the darkness swallows it up again. In ONDIER - THE BUG, a parade of lonely figures is featured on an endless quest for self-expression. Actor and dancer enter an interdisciplinary waiting space between language and movement, where oppressed souls well up from a dark source and slowly wander between glamour and decay, frenzy and silence, and glitter and blood. It's an endless, sad party where you still linger, even though the atmosphere has long since changed to that of a David Lynch film.
