The band of dancers and musicians from the successful performance Shake Shake Shake (2019) finds each other again, in the border area between dance performance and pop concert. Dancers become musicians, musicians become dancers. Delicate guitar flourishes drive the performers into each other's arms. Swaying bodies enforce the rhythm of the music. Hush is not told through individual performances, but through the meticulous attention and dedication that exists between the players.

About The Dancers

The Dancers, led by choreographer/dancer Josephine van Rheenen (1988) and composer/musician Guy Corneille (1990), are a versatile company of dancers and musicians based in Utrecht. They are known for their unique 'dance concerts,' in which lively modern dance merges with live music. The performances of De Dansers tell compelling stories about liberation and surrender, with a playful anarchism as a common thread. They shake loose what is stuck and bring moments of stillness where needed.
