My Garden's Boundaries Are the Horizon: Closing event
At the end of the 3-month exhibition 'My Garden's Boundaries Are the Horizon' they will read the book again, exploring aspects of the story that have been overlooked, or not fully explored. During the event the audience will participate in an unscripted reading, selecting and reading excerpts from the text that appeal to them, and exploring the possibilities of free improvisation and performing a script.

About My Garden's Boundaries Are the Horizon
To See the Inability to See is a collective formed in 2019 in the Appels Archief consisting of Arefeh Riahi, Martín La Roche Contreras and Maartje Fliervoet. They developed a foldable book/object called My Garden's Boundaries Are the Horizon: A Porous Reader to Unguard the Garden . It emphasizes the relationship between body and books and invites to write, read and think.
The book/object has now developed into this exhibition, a mix of objects, gestures and events that extend the content into space and bodies, such as those of readers, visitors and artworks. This unfolding takes place on a display that also shows a selection of works, bringing together the publication, the artworks and the artefacts.
