Rombout Verhulst (1624-1698)
Stefan Glasbergen, author and history lecturer at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, will give a lecture on Rombout Verhulst (1624-1698). Verhulst is a prominent sculptor from the 17th century who is praised for his baroque tombs for big names like Michiel de Ruyter and Maarten Harpertszoon Tromp. He played a key role in the art world of the Dutch Republic.
