Studio/K
Studio/K is a multidisciplinary, multi-purpose venue that functions as an arthouse cinema, a gig venue, a music club, a gallery and a bar/restaurant. Programmed and operated by 50 enthusiastic students, the venue is always forward-looking, incorporating a hospitable experience that continuously feels fresh.
More than a cinema
The two screening rooms at Studio/K are equipped with some of the largest screens in the arthouse scene in Amsterdam. The venue also houses a theatre, a stage, a bar/restaurant and a terrace, which is put to great use in the summer months.
Far-reaching programming
The impressive programming includes an outstanding range of quality arthouse films with a focus on cinema outside Hollywood, such as Turkey, Morocco and India. The club can boast an equally impressive array of eclectic nights and festivals, extending outdoors to the spacious terrace to include markets and other open-air activities. Amidst all that you’ll find gigs, too, ranging from singer-songwriter to jazz, rock and electronic.
