The programme for Queer & Pride Amsterdam 2024 is hotting up, with dozens of parties, cultural events, exhibitions, lectures and more from 19 July to 4 August.

Canal Parade

The world-famous Canal Parade on the canals of Amsterdam is one of the most memorable highlights of Pride. Spectators can watch about 80 boats representing everything from small LGBTQI+foundations to pink organisations within national multinational networks. They all cruise the city canals in elaborately decorated boats and dinghies to celebrate the past, present and future of the LGBTI community - and to show that it doesn't matter who or what you are.

Milkshake Festival

Milkshake Festival is a multi-genre music festival in Amsterdam and has become one of the favorite festivals in the capital. Milkshake Festival is not just a dance festival, but a party where respect, freedom, love, tolerance and fun are paramount. The Festival will return to the Westerpark in 2025.

Queertopia

Please note: this event is sold out. A theatrical experience in a parallel universe where sexuality is a choice. Queertopia is a conversion machine; Whatever sexual preference you go into it with, you come out queer. Because sexual preference is a choice. At least, in the parallel reality that the makers sketch for you. Location: Spiegelstudio, entrance IJpromenade 2, Amsterdam. in English!
