amsterdam&partners nominated for Experimentation Elite Awards 2024
This award is the 'Oscar' of the experimentation world. Throughout 2023, we obtained innovative insights through a series of 12 AB tests (online experiments). Such as how, where, and when we can motivate visitors with the right message to consider the city's busyness. Some remarkable discoveries:
- Visual signals such as a traffic light model are more effective than general maps
- Visitors are likely to adjust their plans if they know specific locations are busy
- Without a clear alternative in terms of time or location, congestion information is ignored
These insights have not only enriched our knowledge but also set an example of how online experiments can be used within the tourism and hospitality sector. In this way, amsterdam&partners can contribute to a sustainable visitor economy in Amsterdam and the region. On 12 June, it will be announced whether Tjerk van Halem, Senior Product Manager Online, and Martijn Peschke, Behavioural Strategist, on behalf of amsterdam&partners, have won the Experimentation Elite Award for Travel & Hospitality!
