Faces of North Holland

For a long time, portraits were only affordable for the wealthiest in society. Painted, drawn, printed, or sculpted portraits were costly. As a result, most people were never portrayed, and we don't see them in museum collections. This had to change! Come to the exhibition 'Faces of North Holland' at the Amsterdam Museum, where 21st-century portraits are displayed so everyone can see themselves in the art.

Bradwolff is an experimental platform for contemporary art. There are not only exhibitions, but also workshops, performances, art dinners and much more. 

On Saturday September 7, the exhibition "Battleground" by Haevan Lee opens at Bradwolff Projects in Amsterdam East. This installation of paintings explores the psychological landscape of war. During 24 Hours East, the doors are open from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with the official opening from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The exhibition runs until October 5, 2024

The photo exhibition 'Desire Lines' by artist Isabelle Vigier is a visual interpretation of the project 'A Beautiful Path' by composer Kate Moore. Isabelle Vigier captures the presence of Kate Moore in the landscapes she crosses between the Netherlands and West Ireland. She documents the unique character of the artistic research, in which the composer is both in search and in dialogue with her ever-changing environment. The exhibition occurs during Kate More's Summer Residence at Plein Theater.
