9th edition of The Amstelveen Triennial at Cobra

From May 18 to July 7, 2024, the ninth edition of the Amstelveen Triennial can be seen at the Cobra Museum for Modern Art in Amstelveen. From more than 60 entries, 21 artists have been selected whose recent work can be seen in the Cobra Museum for two months. A jury consisting of Esther van den Berg from the Cobra Museum, Tomas Hilleband from Museum JAN and Sietske Dudink from Platform C, made a selection together with project leader Niels Vis.

We were all once connected to a placenta - and yet we know so little about this organ. The duality of the placenta, which both connects and separates mother and child, makes it a symbol for artist Farah Widmer for the porous boundaries between one person and another.
