Creative and open
This summer, a new, colourful work of art by British artist Morag Myerscough will appear at NDSM, near the waterfront on the wharf. To celebrate this, she invites you to share in a creative workshop how you would like to celebrate your city and district and what a sense of home means to you.
What are you going to do? The workshop starts with brainstorming about your bond with the city and North. Based on that input, you will paint and draw yourself.
What happens to the results? From the workshops and what everyone shares, Morag creates the texts that you will ultimately see in the artwork. The information shared during the workshops will also be used to create a poem by spoken word artist Mahat Arab. This poem will be recited during the opening and heard alongside the artwork.
Location: NDSM area; they will send you the specific location after registration.
