18th century Polish folk music with Erik Bosgraaf & filoBarocco
Erik Bosgraaf, together with filoBarocco, goes in search of Polish traditional folk music through the eyes, or rather pen, of Georg Philipp Telemann. In the 18th century he was a court composer in Sorau (now Zary (Poland) and wrote down on a notepad all the melodies he heard in the taverns. It is very special that this gives us an idea of what that music sounded like because folk music was usually not and is written down.
